Smarty Scoop on Weekend Events

Happy Wednesday Smarty Readers, and Happy Early Valentine's Day! We are so lucky that Valentine's Day falls on a Saturday this year. It's a great excuse for a date night, and a good day to do crafty things with the kids! If you haven't already made your Valentine's Day plans, it's not too late to check out Winston-Salem events on Smitty's Notes , or Triad restaurants on Triaddiner.com for some last minute date ideas. And be sure to read TriadSmartyPants this coming Friday. One of our Smarty Moms (and one of the craftiest moms I know) will be sharing a great Valentine's Day craft for you to do with the kiddos. What's Love Got to do with it?

On February 13th, the What’s Love Got to Do With It? Tour is coming to Winston Salem. This musical search for real love combines a full concert and comedy together to explore what real love is. This event is the perfect way to celebrate Valentine’s Day with your significant other and friends. Come downtown and have dinner at one of the great restaurants and then join us for the show. The event includes a concert of popular love songs performed by the nationally known Billy Lord. The band performs a blend of popular songs like "The Power of Love" by Huey Lewis & The News and "I Want To Know What Love Is" by Foreigner. For folks in/near Winston-Salem, Big Bang Boom is also going to be at the Children's Museum in Winston-Salem on Saturday from 11am-noon.
