Smarty Scoop on Weekend Events

Happy Wednesday! Let's hope the rain ends soon because there are a lot of fun activities happening around the Triad, including the Dixie Classic Fair which runs through this weekend. If you haven't been yet, be sure to read Smarty tips before you go!

Ghost Train Halloween Festival

Fun on the Farm

It's time for the 3rd Annual Fun on the Farm! Bring your lawn chairs & blankets to enjoy a crisp Fall evening filled with Hayrides, Dinner, Roasting Marshmallows, Silent Auction, Live Music, Face Painting and great views of Downtown Winston-Salem! Tickets are $10 for Adults, $5 for Children (5-12), and Children under 5 are free. Ticket price includes dinner and all activities! Beer & Wine will be available for an additional charge. All proceeds of this event benefit The Children's Home.

Buddy Walk 2009

Carolina Renaissance Festival

Come experience this medieval festival with its 10-stage theatre, a 20-acre circus, an arts and crafts fair, a jousting tournament and food all day. Adults, $18; ages 5-12, $7.

Community Day Festival

Reynolda House Museum, Winston-Salem
Reynolda House Museum of American Art invites the public to an exotic fun-filled Community Day Festival. Sponsored by The Budd Group, Community Day is a free celebration of two amazing explorers, Charles Darwin and Frederic Church, who traveled to South America in the mid-1800s, one in the name of science, the other in the name of art. Arts On Sunday Rhythm of Art
