Smarty Day Trips Are Back!
By Rachel H
Last year we ran our Day Trip Series throughout most of the Spring and Summer. We had numerous requests for more, so we are bringing back the series! Every Monday we will feature a new Day Trip Idea for your family. We have some fabulous places in our line-up as well as some hidden gems right here inside the Triad area. We would LOVE to have guest bloggers for this series, so if you have an idea of a fun day trip or a "Stay-cation" that you would like to write about, please email us at triadsmartypants@gmail.com and we'll get you started!
Since we have so many new readers since last summer, we thought we would start the series today by linking you to past day trip series blogs. You will see all our ideas thus far listed below. Remember that you can always access these by looking on our Categories on the left side of the page and scrolling down until you see "day trips." Take a peek and start planning some fun weekends and summer days now!

We used quite a few of these last year - Chapel Hill, Burlinton Park, Baa Moo, Durham, and Carowinds. I am excited to see more! Easy way for us to plan summer and spring outings. We appreciate TSP doing all the research!
Hooray! I love these! Keep em coming!
I went to ASU and visited Hebron Rock Colony frequently. I had forgotten all about it until today! Can't wait to take the kids there.
