Smarty Alert: Trunk Shows Coming to Town!


Attention Smarty and Savvy Moms: One of our own Smarty Moms will be hosting Rags Land and Gigi and Jack Trunk Shows next week. Watch this site for more information in the next few days on how you can order (you can only order Gigi and Jack items through a representative).

If you are also hosting a trunk show or other product parties, and can share information for other Smarty Moms to attend or order items, email us here and we'll spread the word. Or leave a comment below!

As a favor to all other moms out there I am leaving you this message regarding the Gigi and Jack line. I wish someone had warned me before hosting and purchasing from them. They issue NO refunds, the clothes arrive very late, poor customer service, and poor quality. Order at your own risk ladies...I would check out Hannah Kate and other well known companies before wasting your time and money on this show. SO Sorry but totally honest!

Gigi and Jack provides quality custom clothing and has a history of happy customers for 5 years. I am sorry that the last post had a negative experience. I have found in business it is impossible to make everyone happy, but at Gigi and Jack we do our best. Any issue are addressed & corrected. Credits are always given towards another purchase if necessary. I encourage "anonymous" to post a name. There are 2 sides to every "story". Thank you, Penney @ Gigi and Jack

Unfortunately I have to agree with "anonymous." Gigi and Jack does not practice accountability and nor is quality ensured to meet customers standards. I had a "fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me" experience with this line and I have finally learned:).

I had a friend order over $500 worth of items from Gigi and Jack at a trunk show and the clothes were ordered in August and it is December and the clothes still are NOT here. Also, what was available from her order was wrong. Not to mention the fact that the lady claimed the clothes were shipped and then a few days later, notice comes that the fabrics were out and the order would NOT be arriving. The earlier blog about not making everybody happy....well, I just hope you aren't one of the ones that she doesn't make happy. Use your credit card for purchases, that way you have recourse if this happens to you. No refunds...just credit for another bad experience.

This is the worst company I have ever been involved with. I ordered in August and am still due half of my order. She refuses to respond to my daily phone calls and emails and will not issue refunds. Spend your money with someone who treats their customers well.

I just cannot believe how Penney can continue to ignore phone calls and emails and not even try to make customers happy. I have not received my clothing from a party in August....I know, read her policy and understand that delays can happen. Would be helpful for her to tell you that and communicate before the 20 week mark, but I guess that would involve customer service. Too bad this has happened to so many people, the cute clothes are not worth it. 80% of the people that came to my party are not satisfied with their items...guess we are just a bunch of "some people you cannot make happy"

I have found in business it is impossible to make everyone happy, but at Gigi and Jack we do our best. Any issue are addressed & corrected. Credits are always given towards another purchase if necessary. The recent 3 posts are all friends. Andi: rec'd the majority of her order & a clothing credit for the rest, per policy.Andi was responded to, yet continued to call & emailed dozens of times daily. Kim's friend spent $500 and rec'd everything timely, minus a $30 pair of pants, which she was given credit for per policy. Kim's friend emailed that she felt a few items needed correction, but never mailed them back for inspection. Melanie was shipped all her clothing & I have proof, yet she claims she does not have it. Melanie was also a hostess who failed to make her customers aware of policies. Melanie also committed "friendly fraud" by placing a chargeback, when she knoe the policies & she has been reported for that. It's unfortunate that only the few unhappy are heard & not all the very happy repeat customers. Thank you, Penney @ Gigi and Jack

I am not friends with any of these ladies, that previously left a post. I hosted a show as well last year, and I have never been so embarrassed in my life. I couldn't believe I even associated my name with Gigi and Jack. All of these past and previous posts are 100 % accurate, and yes there are two sides to every store, so do you're homework before ordering or going to a home trunk show ! ! I had customers whom filed a claim on the Better Bussiness Bureau of Raleigh against this company. Penny you should honestly be ashamed, how do you even sleep at night? Read your responses to all of these different comments, they are down right nasty......AND CUSTOMER SERVICE, COME ON.....!!!THERE IS NONE ...SHAME ON YOU !
