Smarty Scoop on Weekend Events

Here’s to another great weekend of events! Lot's of stuff going on - and lots of FREE events! However, the Triad Smarty Pants team will be in bed EARLY this Saturday night because at 7 am on Sunday morning (June 7) we will be at the 36 Degree North Sprint Triathlon at Tanglewood Park in the kid zone passing out balloons and other information about us. If you are in the area, come stop by and say hi - and support all the triathletes participating! And can you still sign up. Just visit www.36northtriathlon.com for all the details.
Also, be sure to note that this Friday, June 5, Dunkin’ Donuts is celebrating National Donut Day on Friday, June 5 by giving away a free doughnut with the purchase of any beverage, while supplies last. Krispy Kreme is also giving away one doughnut per customer on Friday, and no purchase is required. National Donut Day is celebrated the first Friday in June. It was established in 1938 by the Chicago Salvation Army to raise money during the Great Depression. Just so you know :)

11th Annual Lori Brady Foster Memorial Kids Bank Fishing Tournament

Burlington Recreation & Parks and Vaughn Designs present the 11th Annual Lori Brady Foster Memorial Kids Bank Fishing in the Park. Kids will be put into three age groups for ages 1-15 and trophies and prizes will be awarded in each. One overall prize will be awarded for the largest fish of the day, as well as prize drawings. Awesome list Katie! For people who are in Winston, or wouldn't mind driving to Winston for the night, Peter Pan is playing in Shallowford Square in Lewisville this weekend (and maybe next as well) it is FREE! It starts at 8pm. We were at the park yesterday and they were setting up their stage :) You can check the Town of Lewisville website for more info.!
